Streat Side Take Out

Great fast place to get a healthy and tasty meal. I eat a plant based diet and they even have a menu item that worked for me.

This was just getting ready to open the last time we visited Southport so I was excited to try it out when we got here this time. I wanted to try the mahi sandwich but it was sold out.. I had the chicken burrito- excellent and very tasty. Dont think mexican think chicken and rice with southern flair. Wifey had the pork salad and loved it too. The owen and cook came out and chatted with us for a few mins and it were both great local people. They said they change up the menu every so often so we will definitely be back.

Update: If you haven't eaten here, you need to. Grab it to go and sit in the park by the riverfront, or just take it home. The grilled cheese is AMAZING! I just had the blackened shrimp bowl and, once again, I am impressed. The owner also allowed me to try the Gorgonzola Chicken Salad and I am a FAN!!! I'll be back for that soon. Seriously, go check this out. She knows what she's doing when it comes to creating delicious meals. Finally made it to this place. It’s really kind of hidden so it’s easy to not think about it. The outdoor seating is nicely covered and has many ceiling fans to help keep you cool. The food was excellent. We had a blackened mahi-mahi sandwich and a gourmet grilled cheese. I was impressed. I definitely recommend!!!

If you’ve not had her roasted tomato bisque with crab and jalapeño, we highly recommend a quart of it along with the cheddar jalapeño bread from just up the street at Southport Sourdough. Talk about delish! WOW!!! Easiest dinner served!!!

If you want great food at a great price this is for you! I mean I try to go here every weekend to try something new when I can, (they do close a little early) because everything ive tried so far has been fantastic. Wait time is minimal as they get your food out fast and everything is fresh. I'm not a salad guy but their side salad was so good I ate it all which I never do. Try there chicken club, you wont regret it!

Just took my visiting family to Streatside Cafe, I had the special crab and avocado, my cousin had the pork bowl and her boyfriend had the Korean beef, the flavor of every single dish was amazing!!!! The food is so fresh and healthy! So glad to see Miss Rhonda back in business. She and her smiling staff are a blessing to Southport!
